SUMMARY:Second Life’s 19th Birthday
DESCRIPTION:Second Life celebrates its 19th birthday on 23 June and we will be celebrating with them!\n  \n \n  \nSL19B regions will be open to SL residents from 16 June-5 July 2022. \nThe theme this year will be Steampunk! Steampunk is a science fiction genre in which modern technology exists in a steam-powered 19th century setting (think Jules Verne). Come join the fun! Explore resident-created exhibits on the Steampunk theme\, plus performances\, music\, and shopping\, over an area of 24 regions sponsored by Linden Lab. \n>> There is a large map of the SL19B region on the south part of Science Circle island that you can use for orienting yourself.\n— Find any of these islands in SL and transport there.\n— The orientation area on SLB Impressive is in an enormous gold-domed building that displays the history of SL from 2003-2022. \nHere is some of what you can expect:\n— The area is gorgeously designed and landscaped.\n— Many of the buildings are nearly the size of whole regions. Explore the huge arboretum to the northeast.\n— Over 10 regions are full of incredibly imaginative user-created builds.\n— The 8 regions to the south have large areas for music and other events. \nCan you find…\n— The balloon ride station?\n— The Victorian hedge maze?\n— The clock with rabbits as the hands?\n— The “Hunt HUD” with prizes for finding things?
